The Kai Personal Steak Knife is modelled after the original Japanese-style folding knives, a cousin to the sought-after Shun Higo-No Kami Personal Steak Knife, but at a third of the cost. The Kai Personal Steak Knife opens without a spring assist, using part of the tang as a lever. Once opened, the blade locks into place with a liner lock, ensuring that the blade won’t accidentally close during use.

The blade is made of Japanese 420J2 stainless steel, finished to a 16° cutting edge per side. The durable POM handle in inlaid with a crest, reminiscent of the Japanese family emblems, that give this steak knife an elegant touch. Comes with a black leather sheath for discreet carry and protection.
